Anna’s paintings, inspired by patterns in nature and wildlife, weave together shapes and colours to produce a visual emotional response to the beauty of her surroundings. Her painting style, whilst being influenced by the mid twentieth century school of British art (such as Graham Sutherland and Ivon Hitchens), is now very much her own. 

Anna paints at her remote studio overlooking the Rio Guadiana a mile or so north of Sanlúcar de Guadiana, where she lives with her husband and two children.  She has painted professionally for fifteen years, the last six in Spain, but previously in Kent and Anglesey, North Wales. Until recently, her work has been almost solely available from the Montage Studio gallery in Castleton, North Yorkshire where she has held an annual exhibition for 10 years.

Previous exhibitions include, Rye, Folkestone, Whitby, Castleton, Alcoutim (Portugal), Sanlúcar de Guadiana (Spain).
